APP, according to the Tomatis method, is designed to liberate people imprisoned by the chains of poor-listening.
Hearing and listening are different
While hearing is a passive activity, listening requires desire, commitment and attention. We can have excellent hearing but be poor listeners. To become a good learner, we have to become a good listener. Many children with learning difficulties or attention deficit have excellent hearing, according to the school audiologist. Their problem is a listening problem, not a hearing problem.
